The PFA of Frankston East Primary School would like to introduce ourselves, so that you will understand what we are all about.

 

The PFA is made up of people just like you, someone with a child attending this wonderful little school. As we are a small school the PFA plays a vital role in fundraising to help with the education needs of the school. For example, in the past years we have assisted with the following:

 

· New air conditioners

· Provided carpets ahead of time

· Interactive whiteboards in every room.

· Computer Hardware.

 

These are just a few things.

 

What you do if I am involved I hear you ask???

 

This is purly up to you and your lifestyle. IF it is only once during the year you are able to help, then great!

 

Events we organise that you could assist with are:

 

· End of term lunches

· Mother/Fathers Day stalls

· Fundraisers (max of 1 per term)

· Raffles for Easter, Mothers and Fathers Day and Christmas

· BBQ for Carols by Twilight

· Choc Top Days

 

The more helpers we have, make it enjoyable by not only our children seeing us there but also for the parents helping. If it is only the same few parents, then it becomes tedious and unenjoyable.

 

This year 2009 I believe that we have an existing family who represents the PFA in each classroom. As you normally get to know the parents of the children in your child’s classroom, we have included on this page a list of the classrooms and the parent names from the PFA. If you do not know who this person is and you want to know more or are able to join our committee or just help out, please ask your teacher to point us out.

Calendar of Events

ALL DATES ARE APPROXIMATES ONLY

 

Term 1

· Due to Easter falling in the middle of the school holidays, notices will be sent home asking for donations for Easter Raffle.

 

· Fundraiser is a Hot Cross bun drive. Both traditional and Choc Chip buns will be available to order. Payment @ time of ordering.

 

· End of Term Lunch – Subway. A notice will be sent home.

 

Term 2

· Mothers Day Stall. Donation flyer and raffle tickets to be sent home in 1st week back.

· Fundraiser most likely to be for school communities affected by the bushfires.

· End of Term Lunch

 

Term 3

· Father’s Day Stall. Donation flyer and raffle tickets will be sent home.

· End of Term Lunch – footy theme Hot Dogs and Pies.

 

Term 4

· Christmas Raffle @ Carols by Twilight. Donation flyer and raffle tickets to be sent home.

· BBQ held @ Carols by Twlight
