Prep Transition Sessions

Our school Prep Transition sessions commence in Term 4. During these sessions your child will visit our Prep classrooms and take part in many activities. They will meet the teachers, make new friends, and learn more about their new school.

Prep 2025 Transition Dates:

From 2:15pm-3:15pm:

• Friday 1st November
• Friday 8th November 
• Friday 15th November 
• Friday 22nd November 

Please arrive with your child at the school office a few minutes before the transition time. Our school captains will be there to meet you and take you over to the Prep classrooms in our Early Learning Centre. If your child is unable to attend a Prep Transition session, please let our school know by contacting the school office on 9789 9552.

Prep 2025 Parent Information Session

On Friday 22nd November, while your child is attending their final Prep Transition session, parents and carers are invited to attend our Prep 2025 Parent Information Session in the Conference room. This will provide an opportunity for families to meet other new parents, find out how our school operates, as well and the many services available to help you and your family to get the best out of your child's schooling, here at Frankston East Primary School.

Parents and carers will be notified in writing of their child’s 2025 Prep grade and teacher once the transition program is completed, towards the end of the year. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 9789 9552 if you have any queries.
