At Frankston Primary School, we are proud to offer Auslan (Australian Sign Language) as part of our commitment to inclusive education. Auslan is an essential language for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community and fosters a rich cultural connection. Our Auslan program provides students with the opportunity to learn visual communication skills, develop an understanding of Deaf culture, and promote empathy and respect for diverse ways of interacting with the world. Through engaging lessons, students are encouraged to build confidence in using Auslan to communicate, not only within our school community but also in broader social contexts. This program helps to nurture a more inclusive, connected environment where all students are valued and supported.
